Are you interested in supporting the visions and goals of Sage Mountain Center? Are you passionate about promoting continued research and protection surrounding the mysteries of Sage Wall? With your help we will continue to seek out answers and share all new findings about this beautiful and ancient environment.

Your financial gift will help:

  • Continue Educational Programs: Enhance pubic tours, student field trips, day-use opportunities, book publications, and more.
  • Maintain and Improve Our Facilities: As exploration and visitation grows, it’s crucial that we maintain safe accessibility through on-going maintenance, re-vegetation, sanitation, building repairs, and increased administrative duties.
  • Enable Further Scientific Research: We are just scratching the surface of Sage Wall and plan to continue non-invasive surveys like ground penetrating radar, magnetic susceptibility mapping, and Lidar (Lidar survey is currently being analyzed!) of which the reports will be open-sourced for all to see. The feasibility of an archeological excavation/dig is also being explored.
  • Protect the Natural World: Stewardship of this local site is a primary concern at Sage Mountain Center. We are dedicated to keeping it a pristine and inspiring example of living harmoniously with the earth, while not ignoring our technological advancements of humanity. Every purchase we make at SMC is carefully evaluated for life-cycle sourcing, embodied energy, and operational efficiency. By protecting our soil, water, air, and things unseen, we not only preserve the environment but also provide a unique glimpse into the past. This preservation serves as a powerful reminder of our connection to the earth and its history, ensuring its legacy for future generations.
